Jenny has over 15 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other related disabilities in a variety of settings. As 1 of ~ 400 worldwide dually certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), she brings a unique perspective on how to teach individuals the necessary skills to help them achieve their full potential.
As an SLP, Jenny has treated pediatric and geriatric populations with expressive/receptive language deficits, dysarthria, apraxia, cognitive impairments, feeding, swallowing, and voice disorders. She has worked in acute/inpatient rehab hospitals, home health care, schools, outpatient and early intervention. As a BCBA she holds extensive experience addressing social skills, vocational skills, personal hygiene/toilet training, daily living skills, communication and reduction of problem behavior/SIB. Jenny uses a collaborative approach with the client, family members and other professionals in order to provide a comprehensive treatment plan.
Jenny enjoys using her Spanish speaking skills to bridge the gap that most families face when receiving services. Jenny’s experience in working with a diverse population has provided her with the knowledge and experience of implementing clinically, culturally and linguistically appropriate procedures across settings.
