Do I need a referral before starting services?
Most insurance plans do not require a referral for ABA services, but some plans may request documentation from your child’s pediatrician or specialist. Our team can help you understand what your plan needs to begin.
Will Autism FIRST check my benefits for me?
Yes. Our intake and billing teams can verify your insurance coverage and explain your benefits so you know what to expect before services begin.
What if my plan is not listed?
Our network continues to grow. If your plan is not listed, contact us and we will review your coverage and discuss available options.
Do you accept Medicaid?
Yes. We accept Virginia Medicaid, Virginia Medallion, and Virginia CCC Plus. If you are unsure which Medicaid plan you have, we can help you check.
What will my out-of-pocket cost be?
Your cost depends on your insurance plan. Once we verify your benefits, we will explain your deductible, copay, or coinsurance in clear, simple language.
Will you submit claims for me?
Yes. We submit claims for all in-network plans and provide complimentary claim submissions for out-of-network benefits as well.
