Casandra Oldham

Vice President of Advocacy

Casandra brings more than 30 years of experience in fitness and health industries and is a non-profit leader in advocacy, developing support programs, and training for special needs families.

A trained kinesiologist and longtime fitness professional, Casandra was a part-time instructor and fitness coach when her two youngest sons were diagnosed with regressive autism over a few months. Work plans were overtaken by events, and Casandra was plunged into the long-term struggle of being a special needs parent.

From fighting for ABA insurance coverage to founding support groups and being a parent coach, Casandra has spent much of the last fifteen years fighting for her kids and kids like them. The knowledge she has gained about law, schools, nutrition, tests, research, and survival with two autistic boys has motivated her to help families with similar struggles.

With the benefit of thousands of hours of tests, workshops, training programs and IEP meetings and having experienced ChildFind, due process, and mediation – Casandra is a battle-hardened survivor with many lessons to share.
